DECORATE

 

As you decorate your home for Christmas,

And put the tinsel on the tree;

As you approach the Bethlehem story,

May God’s peace and goodwill be yours.

 

When the holiday season is over,

And God removes the world’s tinsel,

Even when you no longer hear music,

Remember to sing your praises.

 

Don’t put Christmas goodwill back in the box

As you pack away the wise men,

For god will decorate your heart with hope,

As long as you will allow Him.
